What If You Stopped Trying?

1 min
What If You Stopped Trying?

“Try to do a good job.”

“Try to do it right.”

“Try your best.”

Voices from the past may fly through your mind.

Maybe every now and then.

Or maybe these thoughts fly every day.

Or every hour.

Or every minute.

“Try.”

What if you stopped trying?

The cynic would go to a dark place with the least desirable outcome.

But what if that was not true?

How might the energy in your body change if you stopped trying?

Stopped pushing yourself so hard, stopped fighting.

What if you allowed yourself to simply be?

How would that affect the energy required to act?

How would that affect how you show up with others?

How would that affect what you choose to focus on?

How would that affect your health?

I wonder.
