Build Self-Awareness: The Context of Good

Meet Elsie.

Elsie, like many people, believes in doing the right thing.

Doing what is good.

Often, throughout the day, she uses the word “good.”

Eating good.

Or treating people right.

Or making sure a project is good.

Or doing what is right for her company and her employees.

She can be heard saying things like,

“That is good.”

“The right way to do this is to…”

“Are you sure that’s right?”

“It’s not good to eat that.”

“That’s not the right approach.”

etc.

What I invite you to be aware of is the context of good or right.

What makes it good?

What makes it right?

This is not a philosophical question.

This is a question for you to ask yourself…

What is good for you?

What is right for you?

Many live their lives out-of-alignment with who they are because they do not examine the foundation of their judgments.

I invite you to examine them all.
